Dorvil will return
Save the date for Friday, 2nd July 2021 – 7.30am to 8.30am
After a very difficult 2020, Dorvil is set to return. We’ve mixed networking, not to mention the delicious full English served at the George Albert Hotel. 2021 will see Dorvil rise from the ashes of 2020 and come back even better in 2021 and beyond!
Dorvil Meeting Place
There was a Special Dorvil Meeting Place on Tuesday, 15th January 2019 with businesses joining us for a special Dorvil networking breakfast.
The focus was on purely networking with facilitated tables and a table move – no speaker.
An attendance list was circulated prior to the event and 10 minute 1:1 meetings set up by mutual consent for any attendees that would like to link up.
All were welcome to bring marketing collateral to display on tables,
The Xmas Dorvil this year on 7th December will be “A Casterbridge Christmas” with short performances from Casterbridge Speakers.

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EVENING
The Crystal Courtyard are delighted to invite you to join them for their Christmas Shopping Evening on Thursday 9 November from 4pm – 8pm.

Dorchester Chamber for Commerce will be holding a Learning Lunch on Thursday, 26th October 2017 at Borough Gardens House, Dorchester from 12.30pm to 2.00pm will be on health and wellbeing in the workplace – an introduction to mindfulness at work.
Verity Woodgate from The Resourcery & Zenna will guide us on how to practice mindfulness at work.

Richard Howes from Kontrolit gave an informative talk about how to develop an online presence and increase sales online through strategy and branding.

Dorvil April Breakfast 2017
The Hon Henry Digby about the history of Minterne Estate and what will be happenng there this year, particularly with the beautiful Himalayan gardens. Dorvil attendees can receive a free tour of the gardens, which are well worth a visit! There are now refreshments available on sunny days, a perfect retreat to relax over the weekend and holidays.

Dorvil March Breakfast 2017
Guy Kerr, from the Jurassic Coast Trust gave a fascinating account of Dippy the Dinosaur, who is due to leave The Natural History Museum and go on tour across the country! Dippy’s first stop is the Dorset County Museum, where he is set to arrive in Feb 2018.

Dorvil February Breakfast 2017
Mandy Childs presented a cheque to the Dorset Air Ambulance at the February breakfast.
Through various foundraising events, The George Albert hotel have managed to raise £3,500 for the charity which was formally presented at the Dorvil breakfast on Friday 3rd of February.
A big thanks to all those who helped to raise this donation!
Dorvil December Breakfast 2016
A special thanks to Lesley and Sue for a very entertaining and informative presentation. The event was a tremendous success, and everybody had a wonderful time!
Additional thanks to Porter Dodson for sponsoring the event, together we helped to raise £165 for Weldmar Hospicecare.
Lesley very kindly donated £5 for every book sold at the event too.
